What bans can be disputed?

Any global ban can be disputed, and will be handled through an interaction between you, the administration of the server which banned you, and the MCBans staff. They will ensure you are treated fairly, and any unjust ban is removed.

Some server owners may choose to allow local bans to be disputed through the MCBans system. This ban dispute is handled by the administration of the server which banned you, as local bans do not affect your reputation.

Important Note

Bans can only be disputed up to 60 days after the ban was made. After this, the ban cannot be appealed unless the server owner removes the ban themselves or the ban is in violation of the MCBans rules.

Disputing a Ban

To start the dispute process, register an account to the MCBans system. You can do so at the below URL:

• Create an account and follow the steps to authenticate your account with your Minecraft account.

• Next, visit the "My Bans" page, find the ban you wish to dispute, and click the "dispute ban" link.
